In 1984, Econox developed the first oxygen probe based on a ZrO2 ball. This exclusive design, sold worldwide, keeps being improved and supports the most demanding processes of the heat treatment industry.
In 2001, a new range of CarboProbe oxygen probes joined the family. It measures oxygen concentrations in a furnace with great accuracy, as well as the carbon potential of heat treatment atmospheres.
Since its creation, Econox has been at the forefront of high-precision oxygen probes. These instruments are essential in many industries, including heat treatment, ceramics, universities and incineration, wherever atmosphere control (in %O2 or %C) is critical.
